Telephone Lifeline/Link-up Programs
Local Telephone Service providers are required to give discounts to residents who meet certain eligibility requirements.  You need to call Customer Service at the Telephone Service Provider, and request an application form.  After you fill it out and mail it back, the provider will confirm the information given, and will then credit your account between $5.25 and $7.00 each month.  Some long distance carriers offer the discount also.   For more information, please call:
